Chris Read has been a REALTOR® since 1977.  CR Strategies LLC, founded in 2009 is designed to be a resource for Real Estate Agents, Broker Owners and Managers who seek to strategically pursue growth of their business and profitability.  She is a licensed CE Instructor, has earned the “At Home with Diversity” certificate, and is a graduate of the National Association of REALTORS®’s Mediation/Mediator Training Seminar.

Prior to starting CR Strategies, Chris was an important part of john greene, Realtor, headquartered in Naperville, Illinois for 32 years.  From 1985 to 2008 among other responsibilities, she managed and directed the initial training and professional development for all the company’s agents.  During those years the company consistently maintained a high percentage of market share in the areas they served and agents were known for their professionalism, knowledge, skills and ethical standards.

Chris served as President of RWSSC (now known as MainStreet Organization of REALTORS®) 2004-2005 and was named the 2007 MainStreet REALTOR® of the Year.  She has served as a Leadership Liaison to the Illinois Association of REALTORS® and Chairman of such committees as Professional Standards, Business Issues, and the License Law Rewrite Task Force.  Committee involvement at the national level has included Risk Management, State and Local Issues, Business Issues, Professional Standards, and Conventional Finance and Lending.  Involvement in the Multiple Listing Service included Board of Director and Secretary of MLSNI and Board of Manager and officer for the Interim Board which led to MRED LLC. 

Chris brings to the table a wide range of Career and Leadership experiences as well as numerous professional educational accomplishments as evidenced by many earned designations. She is a strong believer in the importance of Business Goals and the Strategic Planning process.  She is passionate about the real estate industry and what it means to be a professional REALTOR®.
